| Camperships |
The purpose of the Central New Jersey Council Campership Program is to make summer camp available to deserving Scouts in good standing who would not otherwise afford the attendance fee. Campership application review is performed in the strictest of confidence. Award determination is based on:
- Availability of funds in the Council's Campership Fund
- Fund is comprised of monies secured from grants, individual gifts, and area business and civic and religious group donations.
- Financial need which is determined by information provided by family and criteria set by Council
- Further determining factors include:
Number of Scouts in family attending CNJC camps
Number of years Scout or Scout family has attended CNJC camps
Participation in Council-sponsored fundraising (Popcorn Sale and "Enjoy the City" Coupon Book Sale)
- Proof of camp attendance will be required.
